The Challenge

Ordergroove was hosting a two-day event for NFR in New York City and wanted to capture high-quality photography and videography. They were hosting industry partners, customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders.

The photo and video content was going to be used on multiple different channels, including:

  • Sales follow-up for prospects the event

  • Social media channels

  • Panelists' personal branding

  • Website content

  • Future event promotion

Together we captured photo and video of their partner brunch and a high-profile customer panel. We also created individual cut downs for each of the panelists that they reposted and shared on LinkedIn so the panelists got a boost in personal branding as well. Each of the panelists is a customer of Ordergroove.

Pre-Event Planning

Before the event, I met with Ordergroove's marketing team to understand their goals, brand identity, and the story they wanted to tell across two days.
We aligned on the key moments to capture at both the partner brunch and the customer panel, individual deliverables for each panelist to repost on LinkedIn, how content would be used after the event — sales follow-up, social media, and future event promotion — and shot priorities and logistics across both venues.
Going in with a clear plan meant nothing important was missed, and we had room to find the unexpected moments that make event coverage feel alive.

Event Day Coverage

Across two days and two venues — a rooftop partner brunch at 230 Fifth and an evening customer panel at Electric Lemon — we ran a full photo and video operation at each event.

The goal wasn't just to document what happened. It was to anticipate the moments worth capturing before they occurred: the energy of a packed room, candid conversations between attendees, and panel speakers landing a key insight.

By the close of Day 1, the highlight photo gallery was already in Ordergroove's hands.

By the end of Day 2, the full library from both events had been delivered — within 24 hours of the final event wrapping.

Rapid Turnaround:

I aim to turn around assets quickly, so your team can utilize them while the event still has momentum.

The first drafts of both recap videos were delivered four days after the final event — a rush turnaround to support Ordergroove's social content calendar. A highlight gallery of images were available the day after the event.

The individual panelist cutdowns gave each speaker a polished, branded clip to post on their own LinkedIn — extending the reach of the event well beyond Ordergroove's own channels and boosting personal branding for every customer featured.

Two events turned into the following deliverables:

  • Two 60-second event recap reels formatted for LinkedIn

  • Four individual panelist spotlight cutdowns, perfect for supporting their panelists' personal branding

  • A full panel recording for Ordergroove's website and sales follow-up.

  • Two highlight photo galleries delivered the day after the event. Each gallery had the 25 best images so Ordergroove's team could post on social media while the event was still hot.

  • Two photo galleries, with over 250 images in total
