The short answer: professional corporate event photography in NYC runs $800 for a focused 2-hour shoot up to $4,500 for full-day coverage. The real differences between price tiers are image volume (80–320 edited images), how fast your first selects arrive, and how much of your event one photographer can physically cover.

If you're comparing quotes for a conference, launch, or investor event, here's what each budget level actually buys — with my real 2026 rates.

The tiers

  • 2-hour coverage — $800 (NYC market: $800–$1,000). 80 edited images, first 10 selects within 24 hours. Right for panels, mixers, and shorter programs with one core moment.

  • 3-hour coverage — $1,250 (market: $1,200–$1,500). 120 edited images, 15 selects in 24 hours. The sweet spot for a keynote-plus-networking evening.

  • Half day (4 hours) — $2,250 (market: $1,500–$2,500). 160 edited images, 20 selects in 24 hours. The standard for product launches and investor days with multiple sessions.

  • Full day (8 hours) — $4,500 (market: $2,500–$6,000). 320 edited images, 40 selects in 24 hours. Summits and multi-session conferences, including moves between venues.

Every tier includes full post-production and usage rights for PR, marketing, and social — no per-use licensing.

What separates an $800 shoot from a $4,500 one

It isn't the camera. It's coverage math. A keynote, a panel, three breakouts, and a networking hour physically cannot be covered in two hours — so the real question when budgeting is: which moments must exist in photos? Match hours to your run of show, not to a round number.

Why the 24-hour selects matter more than the full gallery

Your event is news for about 48 hours. The first 10–40 edited, caption-ready selects landing the next morning are what let your comms team pitch press and post to LinkedIn while people still care. The full gallery follows within days — but the selects are where the marketing value concentrates.

Questions to ask any event photographer

  1. How many edited images are included — and is every image edited, or just selects?

  2. When do the first usable images arrive?

  3. Are usage rights included, or licensed per use?

  4. Have you shot corporate events with confidentiality requirements? Investor days have different rules than parties.

Zoom out: pricing is one chapter of the full corporate event content playbook — planning, coverage, and the two-month distribution calendar.
